Really good vacuum so far.
This was a gift from my son... and works like a charm! You just need to set it up put some water in it and is ready to go! Y run it almost every day and have no issues at all
Don't usually write reviews. I usually read reviews but on this one but my wife this vacuum cuz she really enjoyed my parents's she wanted one. Got it. Did the setup it mapped the house, and then started cleaning and then one of the brush motors went out. Called customer service. I was on the phone for maybe 5 minutes and they are sending me a brand new One. Reason I gave it five stars is the customer service is the best I've experienced in some years. Easy to communicate with. Knew exactly what was up, said We're going to send one right out to you. Great experience. I'll be buying more shark ninja products in the future.
I got this to test out as just another robovac in my collection. It's definitely a lower end, more budget friendly model. It cleans well on hard surfaces, but doesn't have adequate suction for deep cleaning medium pile carpets. It's navigation is pretty decent, it doesn't get stuck too much, and navigates decently around furniture. It self empties pretty well too and the majority of the debris picked up are removed from the bin at self empty. It charges about as fast as the higher priced models, but it's runtime is a bit less. Its fine for smaller homes with hard floors and the brand is reliable.
Tapo is the Smart Home brand for TP-Link, which is more well known for their home WiFi routers, but has been in the Smart Home automation business since the beginning. This is supposed to be a robot vacuum and mop, but the mopping function is only useful for clean floors, since you cannot add detergent to help clean. The vacuum cleaner is better at cleaning, but got stuck several times while doing the initial mapping process. It seems to get hair tangled in the brush often, so make sure you clean your home thoroughly with a good pet vacuum cleaner before relying on this for maintenance.The robot goes under some furniture and is good at picking up smaller debris, but if you have a leaf on the floor it'll just push it around and you may find it months later when you look under an end table or the like.My recommendation if you are considering this is to clean your home thoroughly and remove all objects from the floor that are not permanent furnishings, like cushions or dog beds, then map out your home, edit the map to remove areas you don't want cleaned, then use this for maintenance or touch up cleaning on a regular basis. More for Felixes than Oscars, in Odd Couple terminology.The mopping function is similar to wiping a damp cloth on the floor, so why not just do that?
